2024 Alameda Walks
Lace up you walking shoes, gather your family, friends, and neighbors and join us on an hour-long walk on designated Saturday mornings of each month, May through October. All walks begin at 9:00 am and last approximately one hour. Where walks are longer, it will be noted and new walks are indicated. Click here for full details.

Free movies are back for all to enjoy! The event starts at 6:30pm with pre-show festivities including games and crafts for kids. The featured movie begins between 8:15 to 8:45 pm, depending on the darkness onset.

Jean Sweeny Open Space Park Volunteer Clean-up
Third Saturday of Every Month • 10:00 am – 11:30 am
Volunteers meet at the Jean Sweeney Open Space Park to dig weeds and clean up trash on the third Saturday of every month. Everyone is welcome including youngsters. Meet at the east-end parking lot roundabout. Tools are provided. Please bring your own gloves. Hats are recommended. Click here for more information.
