 Public Education/Community Relations Specialist, Carrie Dobert is available to give facility tours and/or presentations for schools, businesses, or community groups. Tours: Facility tours provide an overview of the daily operations of ACI's facility in San Leandro. Tour includes a walk-through of ACI's Material Recovery Facility (MRF). Most tours take about 30 minutes and include a short question and answer period. |

Schools:
Appropriate for all grade levels. Lessons are modified to meet the California Standards and individual classroom needs. ACI's presentations focus on the 4R's, reduce, reuse, recycle, and rot. Presentations are usually 45 minutes in length including a question and answer period. In addition, ACI garbage trucks are available to showcase at your school, making for a great "hands on" experience for the students!
Business Presentations:
Businesses and community groups may request informational presentations from ACI representatives. Presentations focus on the company's history, services and waste diversion goals. Most presentations are about 30 minutes in length including a question and answer period.
